Requiem concert "Every Third", dedicated to the 80th anniversary of the Soviet people's Victory in the Great Patriotic War.

Today, a delegation from the Orsha district attended the requiem concert "Every Third," dedicated to the 80th anniversary of the victory of the Soviet people in the Great Patriotic War.

The event took place at the Palace of the Republic and gathered more than 2000 spectators to pay tribute to the heroism of the Soviet people.

The concert "Every Third" is a poignant musical and dramatic work that reminds us of the heavy losses of the war years. The title symbolizes the terrible statistic: every third resident of Belarus perished during the war. The performance featured songs and poems from the war years, accompanied by footage from chronicles and theatrical sketches.

Before the concert began, guests were able to familiarize themselves with thematic exhibition projects set up in the foyer of the Palace of the Republic. The exhibitions included archival photographs, letters from the front, personal belongings of soldiers and civilians, as well as works by contemporary artists reflecting on the theme of war and memory.
