The team of the Vitebsk regional executive committee's Internal Affairs Department defeated the Ministry of Internal Affairs' Department in the II Republican Ministry of Internal Affairs hockey tournament

In Orsha, the II Republican Ministry of Internal Affairs Hockey Tournament continues. The second game day started with a match between the teams of the Vitebsk Oblast Executive Committee's Internal Affairs Directorate and the Ministry of Internal Affairs' Department of Corrections.

Despite the large final score, the match turned out to be truly combative and generally took place in equal struggle across all areas of the rink. The high intensity of emotions resulted in an abundance of penalty time: seven penalties for the Vitebsk team and five for their opponents.

With a score of 2:0 in favor of the northerners, the DIN Ministry of Internal Affairs team received an excellent chance to get back into the game, playing in a 5-on-3 format. However, the players were unable to take advantage of it. Moreover, the Vitebsk team skillfully capitalized on the opponent's mistake and scored a goal while playing short-handed.

Subsequently, the opponents continued to exchange dangerous moments, but the Vitebsk team acted much more effectively. The true scoring duo for the winners consisted of Matvey Kruchinin and Artem Ivanov, each completing a hat trick. Dmitry Berezovsky and Pavel Matyushonok also scored goals. The latter, by the way, not only scored himself but also assisted his teammates three times. Sergey Shishakov recorded two assists, while Dmitry Berezovsky also noted a scoring pass.

The best player of the match was recognized as the goalkeeper of the Vitebsk Oblast Executive Committee's Internal Affairs Directorate, Artur Migut. His confident play in the goal allowed the players of the Ministry of Internal Affairs' Department of Corrections to register only one scoring shot. A special prize was awarded to the goalkeeper by the deputy head of the professional training department of the main personnel department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Belarus, Colonel of Police Yuri Pleskacevich.

The final score of the match was 8:1 in favor of the Vitebsk Oblast Executive Committee's Internal Affairs Directorate team.
