Коллектив Оршанского комбината хлебопродуктов масштабно отметил профессиональный праздник

The staff of the Orsha bread products plant marked the professional holiday on a large scale

The team of the Orsha Bread Products Plant celebrated a professional holiday. The solemn event on the occasion of the Day of Agriculture and Processing Industry of the Agro-Industrial Complex of the Republic of Belarus took place at the City Palace of Culture and Creativity "Orsha".

This holiday unites everyone who makes an invaluable contribution to providing the residents of our country with high-quality food products. The history of the enterprise spans 123 years. It all began with the construction of a stone mill building in Orsha with a water engine of 50 horsepower. The mill was considered the largest in the province. Flour was produced here until 1960. Then the building was adapted for storage. Currently, the mill building houses an ethnographic museum.

In 1955, an elevator with a capacity of 12 thousand tons was built. In 1965, the second stage of the elevator with a capacity of 8 thousand tons was put into operation. In 1968, a feed mill was erected, and in 1972 – a silo-type warehouse. In 1985, a reconstruction of the boiler house was carried out, replacing the boilers and converting them to gas.

In 1996, a laboratory and household building was constructed, where a production laboratory is located, equipped with all necessary equipment, conducting daily quality control of the produced products and incoming raw materials. The enterprise has implemented a quality management system.

Today, the enterprise continues to develop, and the volume of production is growing. The production process is constantly being improved, moving towards mechanization and automation. However, despite this, the main asset of the enterprise is its people.

At the solemn event, many warm words were spoken in honor of the workers of the bread products plant.

– Dear colleagues, I sincerely congratulate you on your professional holiday! This day is a wonderful occasion to express gratitude to those whose labor, professionalism, and dedication to the cause are the key to our common success. I wish you good health, inexhaustible energy, family well-being, and new labor achievements for the benefit of our enterprise and native Belarus, – said in a congratulatory speech the general director Artur Syssa.

For fruitful and impeccable work in the agro-industrial complex system, exemplary performance of official duties, honorary certificates from the Vitebsk Concern "Meat-Dairy Products" were awarded to Sergey Tyukavin and Elena Mager. Also, for initiative, conscientious and impeccable work, high awards with entry on the Honor Board of the enterprise were awarded to Vladimir Potapenko, Irina Pavlova, Irina Tyapikova, Olga Aleshkovich, Natalia Rybakova, Andrey Kissis, Inna Belogurova, Ivan Tarasov, Tatyana Chebotaryova, Alexander Poteev, Alexander Medvedski and Kristina Pashkevich.

Another 17 people were awarded certificates, and 20 workers received letters of gratitude from the Orsha Bread Products Plant.

The enterprise includes three branches: the selection and hybrid center "Zadneprovskiy", "Smolyan" and the agricultural branch named after Yuri Smirnov. The best workers of the branches were also awarded honorary certificates and letters of gratitude.

Special words of gratitude were awarded to the veterans of the enterprise, whose labor, professionalism, and active civic position created the future.

– Health and well-being to you and your families. Thank you for your work, for your contribution to the development of the industry, and the invaluable experience you have passed on to young specialists! – said Artur Syssa.

Flowers and gifts to the veterans became a symbol of deep gratitude to those who created the history of the enterprise. The chairman of the veterans' council of the Orsha KHP Inna Kuzmenkova was awarded a letter of gratitude from the enterprise.

Every year, the enterprise is replenished with young specialists. Many of them have already managed to prove themselves, achieving certain labor successes and taking an active civic position.

– The first place of work will be remembered forever, just like everything that happens in life for the first time. We are glad to welcome you, the young generation of the enterprise, and allow us to also present you with memorable gifts in honor of our holiday! – addressed the youth Artur Syssa.

The trade union organization also did not remain on the sidelines of the festive event. Employees of the enterprise were awarded honorary certificates and letters of gratitude. The awards were presented to activists by the chairwoman of the Orsha District Trade Union Organization of the Belarusian Professional Union of Agricultural Workers Olga Nikitenkova.

– In the modern, rapidly changing world, the issue of protecting labor rights is more relevant than ever. A strong and active trade union has been and remains a key partner for both workers and management in building a stable operation of the enterprise, – emphasized the trade union leader.

No holiday is complete without good cheer. At the solemn event, the festive atmosphere was created by creative teams of the City Palace of Culture and Creativity "Orsha".

A surprise for the audience was the performance of the king of the domestic pop scene Alexander Solodukha. The artist was met with thunderous applause, and the popular hits were immediately sung along by the audience.
