In Lepel, the first sports event took place among members of public organizations and political parties, dedicated to the Day of National Unity.
As reported by the head of the sports and tourism sector of the Lepel District Executive Committee, Yuri Mily, representatives of 10 public organizations and political parties participated in the competitions. They were divided by lot into four teams of ten people each and competed in relays, contests, and quizzes on the knowledge of the history of the holiday, state symbols, and the Olympic movement. In one team, both leaders of various levels and ordinary workers, students performed together.
The main result of the sports event "Strength in Unity! Be with us in sports!" was bright emotions, a boost of energy, and a good mood.
