A Chinese agricultural company intends to carry out a large project near Orsha
Today, the Orsha district was visited by a delegation from the Chinese company "Shandong Lisente Agrotechnologies" led by the chairman of the board and general director, Wan Shoubo. We remind you that in September, President Alexander Lukashenko held a meeting with the management of this company in Beijing, during which the construction of greenhouse complexes for growing vegetables and flowers in Belarus was discussed.
The head of state noted that this company is no stranger to the Belarusian market and collaborates with Svetlogorsk CCK. Last year, a contract was signed between the parties for the construction of a 4th generation greenhouse for growing tomatoes.
Just yesterday, the guests from China visited the Polotsk district. Today, they studied the potential for developing partnership relations in the Orsha region. Representatives of the company "Shandong Lisente Agrotechnologies" got acquainted with the technology of growing greens and vegetables in closed ground at the "Greenhouse" branch of RUP "Vitebskenergo". They then went to the SEZ "Bremino-Orsha". Here, they learned about the potential and opportunities of the multimodal complex, areas of cooperation, and at the negotiation table discussed the implementation of an investment agro-project for the construction of greenhouses for growing vegetables in closed ground.
The general director of the Chinese company "Shandong Lisente Agrotechnologies" Wan Shoubo emphasized the serious interest in developing bilateral cooperation and implementing an agricultural investment project in Vitebsk region. The guests also visited the peasant farm "START TS". At the Orsha district executive committee, with the participation of the chairman of the Vitebsk regional executive committee Alexander Subbotin and the head of the region Igor Moroz negotiations were held with the Chinese side regarding the implementation of a joint project in agriculture.
– After visiting two regions of the Vitebsk region, we are confident that we did not come to Belarus in vain, – said the general director of the Chinese company Wan Shoubo in an interview with journalists. – We have extensive experience in growing vegetables in greenhouses, applying the most modern agricultural technologies, so we intend to build a modern agricultural complex for growing various types of products in greenhouse conditions here as well. We liked the Orsha site for its implementation. We are satisfied with today's meeting, as we managed to agree on many issues and discuss many details: both construction-related and those concerning the application of modern technologies.
For his part, the chairman of the regional executive committee Alexander Subbotin noted that after the visit of the Chinese partners, a linear schedule for the project to build modern greenhouses for the production of closed-ground products will be formed.
– This is the beginning of a long journey and a significant contribution to the investment development of Vitebsk region, – emphasized the head of the region.
The guests were also given a tour of the Orsha region, during which they got acquainted with the cultural sites and attractions of our region.
