A brick factory in Rossona and another 87 production sites in the Vitebsk region are offered to investors
The Committee of State Property of the Vitebsk Regional Executive Committee has formed a list of 88 production sites for offering to investors for the creation of new and expansion of existing productions.
This list has been formed based on proposals from district and city executive committees of the Vitebsk region.
The highest number of production sites are offered by the Postavy and Verkhnedvinsk districts.
As of today, the largest unused production site in the Vitebsk region is the former brick factory in the Rossony district, built in 1996.
The brick factory has a favorable location ‒ it is located near the republican road of national significance R-24, which connects the city of Polotsk and Rossony, only 10 km to the border with the Russian Federation.
The investor is offered a land plot of more than 16 hectares, on which there are 24 buildings and structures with a total area of 25,815 sq.m.
The production complex includes an administrative building, a production workshop, garages, a warehouse, a boiler house, and other real estate objects.
The territory has engineering communications: electricity and heating supply, there is drinking water, technical water, hot water supply, sewage, and gas supply.
The factory territory is fenced and under security.
Currently, various ways of involving it in economic circulation are being considered ‒ including leasing, sale, as well as transfer for free use for the implementation of the investment project.
The committee has also defined a list of 131 real estate objects that can be offered to investors free of charge for the implementation of investment projects or sold at auction with an initial price set at one basic value.
The lists of real estate objects and sites are posted on the committee's website. For questions regarding the transfer of property for the implementation of the investment project, interested parties can contact the economics department of the district executive committee where the interested real estate object or production site is located.
One of the most interesting objects in the Vitebsk region, which has already been transferred for the implementation of an investment project, is the former estate house of landowner Stanislav Glazko, located on the picturesque shore of the lake in Rossony.
The estate palace, also known as the "house with a hundred windows," was built at the turn of the 19th and 20th centuries and has the status of a historical and cultural heritage object of category 3.
Based on the palace, the investor plans to create an economy-class hotel, a mini-cafe will be opened nearby, and the coastal area is planned to be equipped with a site for weddings.
According to the investment project, it is planned to attract more than 1 million rubles in investments and create at least 20 jobs.
The estate house was transferred for the investment project in January 2024. The project implementation period is until 2027.
If successful, this will be a bright example of preserving historical and cultural heritage objects in the Vitebsk region and attracting investments.
