A quiz concert was held for the youth on the anniversary of the Great Victory in Orsha.

At the House of Culture of Railway Workers, an intellectual and educational quiz-concert "Orsha Lace" took place. Teams from six colleges in the Orsha district participated.

The quiz-concert consisted of two parts: creative performances by students of educational institutions and an intellectual quiz. The event was dedicated to the 80th anniversary of the Great Victory of the Soviet people in the Great Patriotic War. All the quiz questions were divided by the organizers into three sections: "Historical Orsha", "Military Orsha", and "Orsha – the city I am proud of, the city I love..." In each section, teams chose questions equivalent in difficulty to 40, 30, 20, and 10 points. The readiness of the participants to answer was determined by a raised colored palm. The erudition of the participants was evaluated by the head of the Military-Historical Museum named after the Hero of the Soviet Union K. S. Zaslonov Veronika Yuryeva, the director of the Orsha Centralized Library System Oksana Kulagina, a researcher at the Museum of History and Culture of the city of Orsha Roman Dyachuk, a history teacher at secondary school No. 12 in Orsha Elena Metelskaya, and the methodologist of the House of Culture of Railway Workers Galina Haranok.

During the breaks between the rounds of the intellectual game, students from the colleges presented their concert numbers to the audience. An exhibition of artistic, decorative-applied, and technical creativity was also organized. During the game, young people demonstrated logic and resourcefulness, showcased teamwork skills, and knowledge in the field of the history of the Great Patriotic War.

As a result of the competition, the best team of experts was recognized as the students of the Orsha College-branch of BelGUТ. All participants of the quiz-concert received certificates and gifts.
