Igor Moroz held another headquarters meeting for the district “Dazhynky” in Smolyan
There is less and less time left until the district holiday of rural workers "Dazhynki-2025", which will take place in Smoliany on September 27. Arogorodok has been resembling one big construction site for several months now. Wherever you look, there are ongoing renovation works.
Journalists from "Arshanskaya Gazeta" visited another working meeting held by the chairman of the Orsha District Executive Committee Igor Moroz. They walked through the main facilities of improvement, looked at what has already been done and what still needs special attention in the last weeks of preparation.
The so-called Bazaar Square in the center of Smoliany will become one of the main venues of the holiday, where music will be played and trade rows will operate. Here, pedestrian paths are being arranged, and curb stones are being installed. A little later, new lighting and benches with trash bins will appear here, as well as thematic architectural compositions.
We move to Postal Street, where the demolition of an apartment building is nearing completion. A large children's playground will soon be installed in its place. In the park area, rest areas will be equipped with pedestrian paths, lighting, and benches. The memorial sign for Afghan soldiers will also receive attention. The approach to it and the surrounding area will be paved with new tiles, and the access will be equipped.
Thanks to the "Dazhynki", Smolyan School will now have its own stadium. The work on its arrangement will be completed soon. Only the final touches remain, and local kids will be able to play football, volleyball, etc. during physical education classes.
We move to the building of the House of Culture, where finishing works on the facade of the building are underway. Just a little more, and everything will be ready to welcome the guests of the holiday. A small amount of work remains to be done on the bank of the Dernovka River, where a photo zone will be installed, a wooden bridge will be repaired, and a small recreation area for youth will be equipped.
Work is also underway in the park near the agro-college. And on the territory of the institution, improvement works are carried out every day.
The head of the district looked at how the apartment buildings on Mira Street are being put in order. The first outlines of this quarter are already emerging. All houses are being built in a unified modern style. It will be very beautiful and cozy!
