Igor Karpenko told journalists about the work of the Information Center of the Belarusian CEC

About 600 representatives of foreign and national media will participate in the work of the CEC Info Center, said CEC Chairman Igor Karpenko to journalists, reports BELTA correspondent.

— The Information Center of the CEC will start operating on January 24, and it will be located in the Palace of the Republic. On January 24, a meeting of the Advisory Council of heads of electoral bodies of the states participating in the Commonwealth of Independent States and the Youth Tournament Vybor.BY will take place at the center. An exhibition titled "The Development of Electoral Law in Historical Retrospective" will also be opened, Igor Karpenko said. — On January 25, a press conference will be held by the Chairman of the Central Commission on the preparation for the Presidential elections of the Republic of Belarus in 2025. On January 26, data on the voting process will be broadcast from the center (at 11:00, 13:00, 15:00, 17:00, 19:00, 21:00) with inclusions from the regions (according to a separate plan) and the public observation center for the elections.

Experts, observers, and journalists will work at the center.

— On January 27, the CEC will hold a press conference on the preliminary results of the voting, the head of the CEC noted. — Their conclusions will be announced based on the observations of international observer missions, as well as other participants of foreign observation. About 600 representatives of foreign and national mass media will also participate in the work of the Information Center.
