Information about the social boarding house

The state institution "Orsha Social Boarding House "Happy Longevity" was established by the decision of the Orsha City Council of Deputies on 29 July 1965 No. 16, and put into operation on 31 August 1965.

The boarding house is located in the western part of the city of Orsha and occupies a total area of 5 ha. The institution consists of: 4 residential buildings, joined by a dining hall, administrative premises, assembly hall, medical block, laundry, garages and auxiliary facilities.

The institution is designed for 210 places.

The boarding house is intended for permanent, temporary (up to 1 year), including short‑term (up to 1 month, but no more than three times per calendar year) residence of citizens.

Main tasks: ensuring compliance with state minimum social standards in social services, organizing continuous external care or assistance, household services and medical care for resident citizens.

Who can be accommodated:

  • Citizens who have reached the statutory retirement age
  • Invalids of groups I and II requiring continuous care or assistance
  • Citizens who have concluded a lifelong support contract at the expense of local budgets and are recognized as incapacitated or partially capable
