The State Prize and Presidential Gratitudes were awarded to 48 representatives of various fields and three institutions
State awards and the President's Gratitude have been awarded to 48 representatives from various fields of activity, as well as three institutions. The corresponding decree and order were signed on December 30 by the President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko, as reported by BELTA in the press service of the head of state.
Orders, medals, and honorary titles have been awarded to 38 employees of various enterprises, organizations, and structures for many years of fruitful work, high professionalism, significant personal contribution to the improvement of the judicial system, the fight against crime, ensuring constitutional legality, state security, protection of state interests, implementation of state information policy, development of the oil and chemical industries, high production indicators, excellent achievements in public service, project activities, and in the fields of healthcare, education, science, culture, and sports.
The Order of the Fatherland II degree was awarded to the Chairman of the Supreme Court of Belarus (1997-2025) Valentin Sukalo. The Order of the Fatherland III degree was awarded to the Chairman of the Constitutional Court of Belarus (2008-2025) Petr Miklashevich and the Director of the Institute of Applied Problems of Mathematics and Computer Science of BSU Yuri Kharin. Professor of the Department of International Relations of BSU Alexander Sharapo was awarded the Order of Honor.
The medals "For Distinction in the Protection of Public Order" were awarded to seven employees of the Investigative Committee, including the senior investigator for particularly important cases of the department for investigating crimes in the field of organized crime and corruption in the Brest region of the main department for investigating crimes in the field of organized crime and corruption of the central office of the IC Yuri Garin and the head of the forensic department of the Investigative Committee for the Gomel region Andrei Kashevich.
A large group of workers has been awarded the medal "For Labor Merit". Among them are the Deputy Director for Core Activities of the Minsk Regional Center for Correctional and Developmental Education and Rehabilitation Oksana Diakevich, physics teacher at secondary school No. 34 of Bobruisk Svetlana Zdoronkova, tower crane operator-welder of the RUP "Production Association "Belarusneft" Alexander Pishchik, and surgeon of the Brest Central City Hospital Ivan Skarzhinski.
The medal of Francysk Skaryna was awarded to the First Deputy Chairman of the National State Television and Radio Company (NSTRC) Sergey Gusachenko and the Director of the National Branch (Representative Office) of the Interstate Television and Radio Company "Mir" in Belarus Olga Shpilevskaya.
The medal "For Impeccable Service" II degree noted the merits of the head of the main financial department of the Office of the President of Belarus Dmitry Khvashchevsky, the medal "For Impeccable Service" III degree was awarded to Elena Mitkova and Svetlana Nosakova - Deputy Head of the Legal Department and Head of the Personnel Department of the Office of the President of Belarus.
The decree also awarded honorary titles of the Republic of Belarus.
The title of "Honored Worker of Mass Media" was awarded to the Director - Chief Editor of the Administration of the President of Belarus "Publishing House "Belarus Today" Dmitry Zhuk, "Honored Employee of State Security Bodies" - Chairman of the KGB Ivan Tertel, "Honored Master of Sports" - athlete-instructor of the national team of Belarus in trampoline jumping of the Republican Center for Olympic Training in Gymnastics Ivan Litvinovich.
The President's Gratitude has been announced to 10 representatives from various fields of activity, as well as to three institutions: the Gomel Chemical Plant - for significant contribution to the development of the chemical industry and effective production activities, the Republican Center for Olympic Training in Gymnastics and the Republican Center for Olympic Training "Stajki" - for significant contribution to the development of the respective sports and preparation of high-class athletes.
Awards have been given to the Deputy Head of the Aviation Technical Base for Production of OJSC "Belavia" Maxim Zaretsky and the Director of the branch "Assembly Plant of IMS and PP" OJSC "INTEGRAL" - the managing company of the holding "INTEGRAL" Alexander Melets - for many years of fruitful work, high professionalism, and significant personal contribution to the development of civil aviation and microelectronics, respectively.
The athlete-instructor of the national team of Belarus in freestyle wrestling of the Republican Center for Olympic Training "Stajki" Irina Kurochkina has been awarded the President's Gratitude for high professional skill, achieving excellent sports results in international and republican competitions in freestyle wrestling. The Chairman of the Belarusian Wrestling Federation Alim Selimov and Professor of the Department of Track and Field of the Belarusian State University of Physical Culture Tadeusz Yushkevich have been awarded this honor for conscientious fruitful work, high professionalism, and significant personal contribution to the development of physical culture and sports.
For significant personal contribution to the implementation of state information policy, high professionalism, objective and comprehensive coverage of events in the socio-political, economic, and socio-cultural life of the country, the President's Gratitude has been announced to five media workers.
