The working trip of the chairman of the Vitebsk Regional Executive Committee Alexander Subbotin to the Orsha district began with a visit to agricultural facilities.

The first facility on the route is the new MTC "Zhuravinka" of OJSC "Mayak Vysokoye", which was put into operation on December 31, 2024. It is designed for 1,141 heads of cattle. Two cow barns, a milking and dairy block, buildings for dry cows with a calving department and a calf prophylactic center, silage trenches, and lagoons for organic waste removal, access roads, and utility rooms have been constructed here.

– Comfortable conditions for livestock and modern working conditions for employees have been created at the new complex, – said the director of OJSC "Mayak Vysokoye" Pavel Fominov. – Now it is convenient for everyone here. We are currently working on filling the barns. In the future, we plan to double milk production.

By order of the Head of State, the agricultural combine "Yubileyny" built a chain of five new livestock facilities for heifer livestock at MTC "Pavlinka" for 2,500 cattle. As soon as the farm is filled with animals, the entire dairy complex will become a full-fledged industrial site for milk production and heifer rearing. This is one of the unique facilities in the country that can serve as an example for the entire agricultural sector.

The head of the region Alexander Subbotin, together with the chairman of the Orsha District Executive Committee Igor Moroz, visited the MTC and the new livestock facilities, and the director of the enterprise Alexander Firsin detailed the technological processes. In an interview with journalists, the chairman of the regional executive committee noted:

– The implementation of this project at the agricultural combine "Yubileyny" has allowed to build a unified technological chain in milk and heifer production, so this facility is an example of how it should be, this experience can be replicated.
