Description of the flag

The flag of Orsha is a rectangular field divided horizontally into two parts. Top half — a white field, symbolizing peace and the purity of thoughts.Lower half divided into two horizontal blue stripes — a narrow and a wide one, which represent the two rivers on which Orsha is located:Orshitsa and Dnieper.

The coat of arms is an image on a blue field of a Spanish shield with a lowered golden fork‑shaped cross, in the centre of which there is a natural‑coloured hunting horn, above — a silver cavalry cross.
