For those wishing to perform the ritual and immerse themselves in icy water, designated places for mass bathing are set for January 18 and 19. These are the Dnieper River in Orsha near the OSVOD rescue station on Vladimir Korotkevich Street, the Shchetinka quarry, and the spring of Saint Great Martyr and Healer Panteleimon in the village of Lyutyny.
We remind you that before bathing in the hole, it is necessary to warm up. This is needed to warm up the body. Approach the water in non-slip and easily removable footwear. Immerse yourself up to your neck. Do not wet your head. Stay in the hole for no longer than a minute.
