The Unified Information Day took place at OJSC “Orshansky Construction Trust No. 18”. Topic: “Healthy Nation – the foundation of Belarus’s development”.

At OJSC "Orsha Construction Trust No. 18", a unified information day was held, dedicated to the relevant topic – the health of the nation as a crucial factor for the sustainable development of the country. Representatives of the authorities and healthcare addressed the workforce, highlighting key aspects of state policy in the field of health protection and the formation of a healthy lifestyle.

The First Deputy Chairman of the Orsha District Executive Committee, Sergey Nikolaevich Pats, emphasized in his speech that the health of citizens is the foundation of the well-being and prosperity of Belarus. He noted that the state pays special attention to creating conditions for preserving and strengthening the health of the population, developing the healthcare system, and promoting physical activity and healthy nutrition.

– "Only a healthy nation can ensure the sustainable development of the country, high labor productivity, and social stability," – said Sergey Nikolaevich. – "Various programs aimed at supporting a healthy lifestyle, building sports facilities, and organizing mass health improvement events are being implemented in the Orsha district."

The Deputy Chief Physician for outpatient services of the State Institution "Orsha Central Polyclinic", Svetlana Vasilievna Malashchenko, spoke about the importance of disease prevention and regular medical examinations.

– "Many serious diseases can be prevented if one undergoes screening on time, monitors their health, and gives up harmful habits," – noted Svetlana Vasilievna. – "Our polyclinic has created all the conditions for early diagnosis and treatment of diseases. We invite all construction trust employees to actively participate in preventive actions and vaccinations."

During the meeting, measures for the development of sports infrastructure in Orsha and the district were also discussed. It was noted that in recent years, new sports grounds have been built, physical culture and health centers have been opened, and mass competitions are being held.
