On one of the most important Christian holidays, the Baptism of the Lord, also known as Epiphany, the Orthodox residents of Orsha today go to churches to pray, light a candle for health, and collect the Epiphany water.

On this day believers remember the baptism of Jesus Christ in the Jordan River, as well as the consecration of water, which since then has been considered holy and possessing a special power.
