Donor campaign in Orsha: rescuers give life!

At the Orsha blood transfusion station, a donor campaign took place, in which employees of the Orsha city emergency department participated, led by the head of the department, deputy of the Orsha council of deputies Andrey Kuryatnikov.

For some, it was not their first experience, while for others it was an exciting but important *first step*. But what united everyone was the understanding that their act could save someone's life.

"Being a donor is not just noble, it is a civic responsibility of each of us," noted Andrey Kuryatnikov. "Every drop of blood can be decisive for a person in trouble."

This campaign is another step in strengthening the traditions of mercy and mutual assistance in our region. After all, heroism is not only the fight against fire but also the quiet yet so important readiness to help.

With the funds raised from blood donation, the Orsha city emergency department purchased the magazine "Young Rescuer" for the Social and Pedagogical Center of the Orsha District.
