The dialogue platform as part of the "Presidential Republic" project took place at VGMU.
The enthusiasm of the young generation and the experience of the older generation is the key to the successful development of both medicine and the entire country as a whole, emphasized the chairman of the regional Council of Deputies Dmitry Demidov during a meeting with students and the faculty of VGMU.
During the dialogue platform, which took place as part of the "Presidential Republic" project, Dmitry Demidov reminded about the achievements our country has made over the years of independence in building a socially oriented, legal, democratic state, where the main value is the working person and their well-being.
– In particular, a tremendous amount of work has been done in the healthcare sector over the past decades. The level of training of our medical workers and the equipment of healthcare institutions are among the highest in the world. This is evidenced by the assessments of the World Health Organization and international rankings. All this indicates that the state policy is focused on the person, for whom the state strives to create comfortable conditions for the emergence of large families and the development of the institution of motherhood and childhood, – noted Dmitry Demidov.
The head of the deputy corps emphasized that it is important to inform about the work being done in the country to create a socially oriented state and the necessity of maintaining this course for the sake of preserving peace, well-being, and unity.
– Today, it is necessary to talk to young people so that they know and appreciate the rich experience accumulated by previous generations. So that in their work and development they are guided by the life orientations and moral values that have always been inherent to Belarusians, – added Dmitry Demidov.
The dean of the pediatric faculty of VGMU Tatyana Ryabova noted that healthcare is improving every year.
– We allocate quite a lot of funds for the development of the medical field. The dynamics are positive, and I want to say from the experience of interacting with other countries, many envy our healthcare, the opportunities both in terms of training students and providing medical assistance to patients, starting from birth, – noted Tatyana Ryabova.
