Deputies of the Orshansky district council approved the Regional Development Program for five years
At the extraordinary session of the Orsha District Council of Deputies chaired by Inna Khomutovskaya, the Program for the socio-economic development of the Orsha District for 2026-2030 was approved.
The session was attended by the chairman of the district executive committee Igor Moroz and his first deputy Yegor Djandrov.
The main report was delivered by the head of the economy department of the district executive committee Galina Svitina. She outlined the main priorities for the next five years. There are six in total: population preservation, strengthening the health of the nation and family support; development of human potential; quality education, upbringing of a harmonious and patriotic personality; creation of a quality and comfortable environment for a comfortable life in all corners of the district; competitiveness, technology, and digitalization; implementation of tourism potential.
Speaking of a comfortable environment, the region will prioritize housing, roads, and transport.
– We will work on the qualitative transformation of the housing stock and yard territories, improving the living conditions of populated areas, ensuring the population with quality water supply and sewage, – emphasized Galina Mikhailovna.
The key tool for achieving the goal of competitiveness, technology, and digitalization is planned to be achieved in the region through the implementation of investment projects in industry, agriculture, and the social sphere. Thus, the implementation of investment projects and activities at the factories: "Legmash", "Red Fighter", "Ring Industry", the flax processing plant, "Communication Technology", the meat processing plant, "Metallist", and others will continue.
In the discussions on this issue, deputies Elena Brezhneva and Oleg Makulkin also spoke, after which the deputies voted to approve the Program.
