A delegation from the Vitebsk region visits the Independence Palace
More than 100 representatives of labor collectives from the Postavy and Orsha districts are on an excursion today at the Palace of Independence.
By the way, the delegation from the Vitebsk region was the first among the regions to visit the palace after the presidential elections.
The President's gift collection has been replenished with new presents.
A canvas with the inscription "NEED", woven at the Orsha linen mill, was presented as a gift to the Palace of Independence.
A whole team of more than 10 specialists worked on the canvas: an artist, weavers, a designer, a technologist, a colorist, a master assistant, a patronist, and others.
Among today's excursion visitors are those very employees who worked on the gift canvas "Need". The artist from the assortment management department of the Orsha linen mill, Irina Kosukhina, never thought she would get to this place.
– The scale and decor are impressive. The excursion has just begun, but even what I have managed to see is very inspiring, – shared Irina.
The woman also talked about the team's work on the gift for the Head of State.
– When the President asked "Need?", we tried to react lightning-fast because we truly believe – "Need!". The deadlines were tight, and we aimed to express our support as quickly as possible. We used our native linen and the colors of the national symbols in our work.
Another gift to the President was bread baked in Kopyl.
By the way, the baked goods are from the very bakery that was restored at the President's request.
– Very symbolic and beautiful. How can we work now after what we have seen?!", – could not contain her emotions, the press secretary of the President of Belarus, Natalia Eismont, said.
