Future "patriots" get acquainted with the customs officer profession
As part of a career guidance session, students from secondary school No. 44 in Vitebsk, who are resting in the school camp "Patriot", visited the Vitebsk customs.
The purpose of the visit was to familiarize the children with the activities of customs authorities, to form their understanding of the profession of a customs officer, and to instill a sense of patriotism.
Employees of the Vitebsk customs told the students about the history of customs affairs, the main tasks and functions of customs authorities, as well as the qualities and skills necessary for successful work in the customs field. The children learned about the fight against smuggling and other violations of customs legislation, as well as the role of customs in ensuring the economic security of the country.
Students showed particular interest in the demonstration of technical means of customs control, including modern scanning systems and equipment for inspecting goods.
The Vitebsk customs always pays special attention to career guidance work with youth, striving to raise worthy citizens and future defenders of the Motherland.
