Boris Tikhamirov held a personal reception of citizens and a direct telephone line in the village of Zubovo, Orshansky district.
In the village of Zubovo, Orsha district, a member of the Standing Commission of the Council of the Republic on regional policy and local self-government, head of the Orsha wagon depot of the Minsk branch of the Belarusian Railway, Boris Tikhamirov, held a personal reception of citizens and a direct telephone line.
Also participating in the work was a member of the Youth Parliament under the Orsha District Council of Deputies, Gennady Drozdov. Residents of the agrotown and other settlements addressed the parliamentarian. Citizens raised questions of both personal nature and suggestions for improving legislation, for example, in the field of criminal law.
Each applicant was given appropriate explanations, and the senator took the decisions on the appeals under personal control. Then Boris Tikhamirov and Gennady Drozdov laid flowers at the monument to fellow countrymen who died during the Great Patriotic War and got acquainted with the work of the Zubovsky Rural House of Culture.
