Более сотни аграриев получили награды на районных «Дажынках» в Смольянах

More than a hundred agrarians received awards at the district "Harvest" in Smolan

The most exciting moment of the district "Dazhynki" was the ceremony honoring the grain growers of the Orsha region, which took place at the local Culture Center. The list of awardees includes more than a hundred names.

With high achievements in the harvest and a rich yield, the first deputy chairman of the Vitebsk Regional Executive Committee Sergey Levkovich congratulated them. He read a congratulatory address from the head of the Vitebsk region Alexander Subbotin, which stated that the workers of the agro-industrial complex of the Orsha district deserved high praise.

"In difficult, and sometimes extreme weather conditions, you saved every ear of grain, every seed. As a result, you achieved a worthy harvest, ensuring a yield of more than 130 thousand tons of grain with a yield of 48 c/ha.

This is the merit of every combine operator and driver, agronomist and breeder, worker of grain drying complexes and head of agricultural enterprises, as well as all residents of the Orsha district who assisted farmers during the harvest season.

Thanks to your diligent and coordinated work, responsibility, and conscientiousness, you made a significant contribution to food security."

Afterward, he handed it over to the chairman of the Orsha District Executive Committee Igor Moroz and presented honorary certificates and gratitude to the best representatives of agricultural organizations.

From the stage of the renovated Culture Center, words of congratulations were also spoken by the head of the district Igor Moroz, his deputy Vitaly Vorobyov, and the chairman of the district Council of Deputies Inna Khomutovskaya, who also presented awards to the best agrarians of Orsha region.

The creative teams of the district and guests from Vitebsk – the dance, music, and song ensemble "Talaka" – prepared concert programs for the participants of the "Dazhynki".

After the award ceremony, the honored guests laid flowers at the obelisk "Grieving Mother" in memory of the victims of the Great Patriotic War.
