More than 10 thousand participants: the "Safety – together!" campaign became a bright event of the festival in Vitebsk.
Visually striking, bright, and with gifts, the Ministry of Internal Affairs' campaign "For Safety – Together!" concluded as part of the "Slavic Bazaar in Vitebsk".
The event was attended by the Deputy Minister of Internal Affairs of Belarus, Dmitry Korzyuk. He familiarized himself with the numerous locations of police units that were set up in Victory Square.
The Ministry of Internal Affairs' campaign "For Safety – Together!" took place in a wonderful festival atmosphere. During these days, Vitebsk transformed into a true cultural capital, attracting a huge number of guests from Belarus and abroad. It was important to create a comfortable and safe atmosphere for them, and I believe we succeeded. Thanks, among other things, to the efforts of the police, people felt the true Belarusian hospitality. The Ministry of Internal Affairs' campaign harmoniously intertwined with the fabric of the "Slavic Bazaar." Not only children but also adults, after visiting all our locations and interactive sites, were convinced: we work openly and provided people with information about almost all units – internal and special troops, traffic police, special rapid response unit, criminal police, and the Department of Protection, – noted Dmitry Korzyuk.
The Deputy Minister thanked the festival organizers and assured that future events organized by the Ministry of Internal Affairs would be just as spectacular and educational.
Over four days, more than 10,000 people visited the thematic police sites and received flyers for it. On the final day, they participated in a drawing for a mountain bike. The lucky winner of the grand prize was Vitebsk resident Olga Bruyeva, who, along with her 12-year-old son Artem, completed the entire interactive route. The main prize was presented to the winners by Dmitry Korzyuk. The award ceremony also featured the director of the International Arts Forum "Slavic Bazaar in Vitebsk" Gleb Lapitsky, Belarusian singer Gyunesh, and Russian performer Arthur Rudenko.
