The President of Belarus has announced gratitude to distinguished teachers and students
The President of Belarus has awarded teachers and students of higher educational institutions in the country. The corresponding decree was signed by the head of state Alexander Lukashenko on June 16, as reported by BELTA in the press service of the Belarusian leader.
For fruitful scientific and pedagogical activities, significant personal contributions to the training of highly qualified specialists, and the development of creative abilities of talented youth, seven educators have been awarded: Associate Professor of the Department of Theory and History of State and Law at the Academy of the Ministry of Internal Affairs Dmitry Voropaev, Head of the Department of German Linguistics at Belarusian State University Marina Gutovskaya, Head of the Department of Machine Engineering and Machine Parts at Belarusian National Technical University Alla Kalina, Associate Professor of the Department of Technologies and Mechanization of Animal Husbandry and Processing of Agricultural Products at Belarusian State Agricultural Technical University Fedor Nazarov, Head of the Department of Architecture and Construction at Belarusian State Transport University Natalia Semchenko, Head of the Department of Fundamental Mathematics at Brest State University named after A.S. Pushkin Alexander Trofimuk, and Associate Professor of the Department of Clinical Immunology and Allergology with the course of the Faculty of Advanced Training and Retraining of Personnel at Vitebsk State Medical University of Friendship of Peoples Irina Shchurok.
The President's gratitude has also been announced to a group of students representing various universities in Belarus for their excellent academic achievements and active public engagement. Among the 18 individuals awarded are Alexander Abramchuk, a fourth-year student of the Faculty of Radio Engineering and Electronics at Belarusian State University of Informatics and Radioelectronics, Ratmir Grishchenko, a fifth-year student of the Faculty of Romance Languages at Minsk State Linguistic University, Alesya Listopad, a fifth-year cadet of the Faculty of Civil Aviation at Belarusian State Academy of Aviation, and Vitalina Soloshko, a fourth-year student of the Faculty of Primary Education at Belarusian State Pedagogical University named after Maxim Tank.
