Belarus ratified an agreement with Myanmar on the protection of classified information
The head of state Alexander Lukashenko signed the law "On the ratification of the Agreement between the Republic of Belarus and the Republic of the Union of Myanmar on the mutual protection of classified information." This was reported by BELTA in the press service of the Belarusian leader.
This agreement was signed in Minsk on March 7, 2025, during the official visit of the Chairman of the State Administrative Council, Prime Minister of Myanmar Min Aung Hlaing to Belarus.
The agreement is concluded to ensure mutual protection of classified information and in the interests of strengthening friendly relations between the countries. This will create a legal basis for the protection of state secrets of Belarus in the implementation of bilateral cooperation with Myanmar in military, military-technical, scientific-technical, and other areas.
