Belarus has ratified a treaty with Russia on the formation of a joint electricity market SG
The President of Belarus, Alexander Lukashenko, has signed a law ratifying the agreement between Belarus and Russia on the formation of a unified electricity market of the Union State. This was reported to BELTA by the press service of the head of state.
The international agreement establishes the legal foundations for the formation, functioning, and development of the unified electricity market of the Union State, the composition of subjects, their rights and obligations, as well as the procedure for interaction among participants in the purchase and sale of electricity.
