Артем Саратокин из Дубровенского района стал первым в Витебской области «двухтысячником» среди молодежных экипажей

Artem Saratokin from the Dubrovenka district became the first “2000s-born” among youth crews in the Vitebsk region

The first "two-thousander" among youth crews in Vitebsk region was Artem Saratokin from the Yuri Smirnov Agricultural Production Cooperative in the Orsha District of the Dubrova region. 

Agrarians were congratulated by the chairman of the Vitebsk Regional Executive Committee Alexander Subbotin, the assistant to the President of the Republic of Belarus – inspector for the Vitebsk region – Vladimir Yurgevich, the chairman of the regional trade union organization of the agricultural sector Tatiana Dikanova, and the leadership of the Dubrova District Executive Committee. The farmer reached the two-thousand mark on a domestic KZS-1218 in one of the fields of spring wheat.

Alexander Subbotin thanked the combine operator for his selfless work, emphasizing that harvesting 2 thousand tons in this difficult time is a feat.

– This is not the limit. New thousands and new records await you ahead. Success is achieved by those who invest professionalism and skill in their work. Thank you from all of Vitebsk region. Wishing you success in the battle for the harvest, good health, and peace. May everything go well for you, – the head of the region addressed the agrarians of the agricultural enterprise. 

The hardworking and modest guy Artem Saratokin is a leader in the harvesting season year after year. He has been honored multiple times at the regional "Dazhynki" festival. For Artem, this is the 7th harvest. A hereditary agrarian who followed in the footsteps of his father, a mechanic, says: working the land is my element, my life.

– Our district, region, and country have much to be proud of. We live under a peaceful sky, grow bread, and earn our living by our own efforts. This must be valued and cherished. We, agrarians, will do everything to ensure the food security of the country, – Artem Saratokin proudly emphasized. 

Today, there are 28 combine operators in the Dubrova District who have harvested more than a thousand tons of grain and rapeseed. The district has crossed the equator with a harvest of 51327 tons of grain at an average yield of 38 centners per hectare.
