Анастасия Прокофьева встретилась с коллективом Оршанского ЦСМС

Anastasia Prokofyeva met with the Orshansky CSMS team

As part of the Unified Information Day, the Deputy Chairman of the Orsha District Executive Committee, Anastasia Prokofyeva, met with the staff of the Orsha Center for Standardization, Metrology, and Certification.

The topic of the conversation is important: "Key Aspects of the Address by the President of the Republic of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko to the Belarusian People and the National Assembly of the Republic of Belarus." The meeting was also attended by the delegate of the All-Belarusian People's Assembly, the chairperson of the shop committee of Factory No. 2 of the primary trade union organization of RUPTP "Orsha Linen Mill" Elena Mikhalkovich.

– In addition to the traditional address of the Head of State, the assembly became a platform for summarizing the results of five years of work across the country for 2020-2025. Key benchmarks and goals for the next five-year period were defined. The most pressing and problematic issues requiring close attention were also highlighted, – noted Anastasia Prokofyeva.

Among them are the further development of economic ties with distant foreign countries, deepening cooperation with China and Russia, which are the main trading partners. In addition, issues of healthcare and education were addressed. Acknowledging the limitations of natural resources, Belarus is betting on its main capital – people, their abilities, skills, and intellect. Work continues on the development of rural areas.

Also, during the work of the All-Belarusian People's Assembly, a program for the socio-economic development of Belarus for 2026-2030 was approved. The program identified seven key priorities, which were detailed by the delegate of the VNS Elena Mikhalkovich.

During the meeting, the most pressing issues for the residents of the Orsha district in recent days were raised – snow removal and garbage collection.

As Anastasia Prokofyeva explained, the cyclone "Francis-Ully" made its adjustments to the work of all city services. Our region was covered with snow more than others, not only in the Vitebsk region but also in the republic. A lot of machinery and human resources were involved, working in an intensified mode, sometimes around the clock. Therefore, some garbage truck drivers were temporarily reassigned to the equipment that clears snow, which led to a disruption of the usual garbage collection schedule.

To promptly resolve the situation, a special headquarters was formed. Its members are addressing problematic addresses, and all incoming requests from residents are also taken into account. Currently, all possible measures are being taken to restore the normal garbage collection regime as soon as possible.
