Alexander Subbotin became acquainted with the work of the Orsha aircraft repair plant
Chairman of the Vitebsk Regional Executive Committee Alexander Subbotin today visited the Orsha District on a working trip.
He got acquainted with the work of OAO "Orsha Aircraft Repair Plant" – the leading enterprise in the country engaged in the repair and modernization of aviation equipment, as well as the production base of a new universal production complex and a workshop for working with composite materials.
– The enterprise is alive and dynamically developing, – emphasized Alexander Subbotin. – The world is moving forward. The aircraft repair plant is not lagging behind new technologies, opening workshops, and working on new projects and orders.
This is confirmed by the general director of the plant Dmitry Sidorovich:
– Today we are engaged in the repair of aviation equipment in cooperation with Russian enterprises. We are performing a large volume of work to minimize the purchase of parts and components. We are developing our own design documentation. But we are not standing still, we are moving forward. We have acquired additional metalworking equipment to produce parts from different types of metals for enterprises of the Russian Federation.
