Alexander Lukashenko met with the heads of the regional executive committees and the Minsk city executive committee

The President of Belarus, Alexander Lukashenko, called for not to forget the main thing amid the elections — the work of the sectors of the country's economy. This was stated by the head of state at a meeting with the chairmen of the regional executive committees and the Minsk city executive committee, reports the BELTA correspondent.

— Do not forget the main thing. We will hold the elections. But before the elections, and especially after the elections, the everyday life will begin. We need to prepare for the sowing campaign. We need to sow properly so that people have a piece of bread on the table. Then no elections will scare us. That is, the economy first of all. And the tasks that were set until today are relevant for us, starting from agriculture, industry, transport, and so on, — said the Belarusian leader.

He suggested that the participants of the meeting identify issues where some assistance is needed on narrow problems.

— We will determine together with you in order to respond, including to the criticism and appeals of our people. There were about 500 appeals to those who collected signatures. We analyzed them. There are no strategic problematic issues. As usual — everyday issues — from housing and communal services to transport and roads. This is planned for us. We will solve these issues one way or another, — said Alexander Lukashenko.
