Alexander Lukashenko wins the presidential elections of Belarus, receiving 5,136,293 votes from voters, reported the chairman of the Central Election Commission Igor Karpenko to journalists at the Information Center, reports BELTA correspondent.
The following number of votes from voters was cast for the presidential candidates of the Republic of Belarus:
Oleg Sergeyevich Gaydukevich — 119,272 votes from voters, or 2.02%;
Anna Anatolyevna Kanopatskaya — 109,760 votes from voters, or 1.86%;
Alexander Grigoryevich Lukashenko — 5,136,293 votes from voters, or 86.82%;
Sergey Alexandrovich Syryankov — 189,740 votes from voters, or 3.21%;
Alexander Nikolaevich Khizhnyak — 102,789 votes from voters, or 1.74%;
213,277 voters, or 3.60%, voted against all candidates.
