Alexander Lukashenko unexpectedly added new sites to his working trip in Kopys
The President of Belarus, Alexander Lukashenko, during a working trip to the Orsha district and visiting the agrotown of Kopyss, unexpectedly added new sites to his itinerary. The head of state decided to stop by OAO "MILKKOP START", where cheeses are produced, as well as the local bakery, reports BELTA correspondent.
Earlier, at the President's request, the cheese production that once existed in Kopyss was revived. Alexander Lukashenko walked through the workshops and critically assessed what he saw, instructing that a detailed inspection be carried out here by specialists, including the sanitary and epidemiological service.
The head of state also visited the local bakery, where bread is produced.
Alexander Lukashenko instructed to expand production in the near future, as the demand for products from the Kopyss bakery is high. This experience should also be spread across the country to small towns, so that they have their own bakeries.
The head of state instructed responsible officials to take control of the development of the bakery in Kopyss, the construction of additional facilities, and the expansion of its capacities: "So that in a year, as much bread is baked here as needed. Why? Because I want to see if everything will be fine (and it will), we need to have bread here (locally, not brought in. — Note from BELTA) in the districts, small towns, and elsewhere."
— And we need to think about Orsha right away. We need to ensure that such small bakeries are supported. It is important that we should spread this throughout the country in small settlements, there should be bakeries in agrotowns, — emphasized Alexander Lukashenko.
