Alexander Lukashenko will take part in the meeting of the Supreme State Council of the Union State in Moscow on February 26.

The President of Belarus, Chairman of the Supreme State Council of the Union State Alexander Lukashenko will participate in the meeting of the Supreme State Council of the Union State on February 26. This was reported by BELTA from the press service of the Belarusian leader.

The event will take place in Moscow, and the agenda includes seven items related to issues of bilateral integration interaction.

During the meeting, the main directions for implementing the Treaty on the Creation of the Union State for 2024-2026 will be discussed, as well as the development of a similar document for 2027-2029.

Key agenda items also concern the organization of cross-border suburban passenger transport; the establishment of a Committee on Standardization and Quality of the Union State; mutual support in cooperation in the field of international justice; and the awarding of Union State prizes in literature and art for 2025-2026.
