In educational institutions of Belarus, a unified lesson dedicated to Family Day will take place on May 15. This information is posted on the National Educational Portal, reports BELTA.
The content of the lesson is aimed at forming students' understanding of family values, love and respect for relatives and close people, and understanding the importance of the state policy of Belarus in supporting and strengthening the institution of family, motherhood, parenthood, and childhood.
The National Educational Portal has posted a sample lesson matrix. Children will reflect on why a family is important to a person, how they understand the statement "A happy family is a strong state", why family support in the country is a national priority, and how the state cares for the well-being of families. The lesson will also discuss family traditions and values. Teachers are recommended to take into account the age characteristics of the students.
