Educational Institutions of the Ministry of Emergency Situations
GUO “Civil Protection University of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of the Republic of Belarus”
Provides training of specialists in the specialty “Prevention and Elimination of Emergency Situations”, “Fire and Industrial Safety”:
- full-time form – duration of study – 4 years;
- part-time form – duration of study – 5 years.
Education is provided on both budgetary and paid basis.
Document processing for admission is carried out by the Orsha city department for emergency situations (document intake starts in January – February).
For university students:

GUO “Specialized Lyceum at the Civil Protection University of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of the Republic of Belarus”
The Lyceum admits persons who have completed education in the 6th grade at the second level of general secondary education.
Applicants to the Lyceum take entrance examinations in written form in the subjects “Mathematics”, “Russian language” or “Belarusian language” (chosen by the applicant) according to the general secondary education curricula.

- children of persons listed in subparagraphs 12.2 and 12.3 of paragraph 12 of article 3 of the Law of the Republic of Belarus dated June 14, 2007 “On State Social Benefits, Rights and Guarantees for Certain Categories of Citizens” (National Register of Legal Acts of the Republic of Belarus, 2007, No. 147, 2/1336).

Daytime department based on secondary education on a budgetary and commercial basis (young men and women aged 17 to 25). Duration of study 2 years 10 months.
Citizens of the Republic of Belarus who have passed professional selection in the manner established by law (p.3 as amended by the Decree of the President of the Republic of Belarus dated 08.02.2008 No.70) have the right to participate in the competition. Legislation provides for applicants to approach the emergency services authorities and subdivisions at their place of residence (February – March) to form a personal file of the applicant, which includes:
- conclusion of the military-medical commission of the Ministry of Internal Affairs medical institutions of the Republic of Belarus on the suitability of the applicant for work in the MCHS bodies;
- professional selection letter;
- materials of special verification;
- passing the credit for physical training.
From applicants who passed the entrance examinations for the indicated form of education but did not succeed in the competition for budget-funded education, to study on a paid basis – until August 14.
Admission is carried out based on the total score from centralized testing and the average grade of the education document.
