The head of state has approved the appointment of two deputy chairmen of the Vitebsk Regional Executive Committee. Alexey Guida will handle social issues, personnel, ideological work, and youth policy, while Petr Belus will deal with construction, transport, and housing and communal services.
The new leaders of the local vertical have been approved by the President in four districts: Elena Babinskaya - as the chairwoman of the Braslaw District Executive Committee, Maxim Bakurov - chairman of the Glubokoe District Executive Committee, Leonid Moizhik - chairman of the Orsha District Executive Committee, Alexander Chasnoit - chairman of the Voronovo District Executive Committee.
Addressing the new leaders, Alexander Lukashenko emphasized that recently the state has paid great attention to the development of the agricultural sector, starting from specific issues of animal husbandry, the construction of calf prophylactic centers, the economy of individual agricultural enterprises, and ending with more general issues of conducting spring fieldwork.
"You know what to do. The time is not easy. You need to act, - said the President. - Do not forget that you are leaders. You are presidents on this piece of land - the district. Act. Do not wait for someone to come and do something for you. They will come, help - thank you. But everything will depend on you. Therefore - only forward."
