In the Orsha district, from March 30 to April 5, 2026, three fires were registered.
On March 31, a report was received about a car fire on Yakubovsky Street in the city of Orsha. As a result of the fire, the car's trunk was damaged. The cause of the fire is being established.
On April 5, a report was received that a woman with burns, sustained from clothing ignited by the flame of a gas stove burner, had approached the emergency room of a healthcare facility. The victim was hospitalized with a diagnosis of thermal burn from flame of I-III degree (10% of the body), her condition is satisfactory. As a result of the fire, the victim's clothing was damaged. The cause of the fire was a violation of the rules for the operation of gas devices and appliances (ignition of clothing from the flame of a gas stove burner).
On April 5, a report was received about a house and two outbuildings burning on Central Street in the village of Lenkovichi, Orsha district. There are no casualties. As a result of the fire, the roof, ceiling, walls, and property in the house were destroyed. Outbuilding No. 1 was destroyed. In outbuilding No. 2, the roof, ceiling, walls, and property were destroyed. The cause of the fire is being established.
As of April 6, 2026, 2,487 fires have been registered in the Republic of Belarus, resulting in the deaths of 243 people.
Since the beginning of the year, 324 fires have occurred in the Vitebsk region, resulting in the deaths of 44 people. In the Orsha district, there have been 29 fires, with three fatalities.
