This year, this holiday is filled with special meaning, as we celebrate a significant date — the 30th anniversary of the signing of the Treaty on the Formation of the Community of Belarus and Russia.
Three decades ago, a historic choice was made that determined the vector of our development. This treaty became the foundation for the restoration and strengthening of fraternal ties, proving that together we are stronger. Our common history, spiritual values, respect for the memory of our ancestors, and the aspiration for creation are the main bonds that unite millions of people in the two states.
Orsha has always been and remains not just a geographical point on the map, but a symbol of unity. Our region is a reliable bridge of friendship, where economic, cultural, and family ties between Belarus and Russia are felt particularly strong.
Thanks to our joint work, mutual assistance, and support, we are successfully implementing large-scale projects in industry, agriculture, construction, and the social sphere, strengthening the security of our borders.
