In Orsha, the construction of a pedestrian bridge in the area of Shklovskaya Street continues. Journalists from the "Arshanskaya Gazeta" are closely monitoring the process of erecting this facility.
Today we visited the construction site again. We looked at how the work is progressing. And we even managed to walk on the bridge itself and capture unique footage for you. The scale is impressive.
The last time we were here was in December 2025. During this time, the overall picture has changed dramatically. It is evident that all the work is gradually nearing completion. All beams, spans, and columns of varying heights have already been installed. Leveling screeds, waterproofing have been done on all axes, supports for the canopy have been partially installed, and railing fences are being set up. Work has also begun on laying curb tiles. Reinforcement of the monolithic sections between the beams is underway, installation of facade blocks and support posts for the columns is being carried out, and formwork is being poured. Ahead are the works on painting and laying the spans.
We remind you that the work is being carried out by the branch of the "Construction and Installation Train No. 169 at the Vitebsk Station".
The new bridge will be gentle, without steps, making it convenient to pass with strollers and other means, and allowing people with limited physical abilities to move freely. The structure will be equipped with a metal frame with a canopy from bad weather. Lighting is also planned on the bridge.
