The head of the Orsha district, Igor Moroz, visited the "Dnieper" farm of the SGTC "Zadneprovsky" OJSC "Orsha KHP" as part of monitoring livestock facilities. This issue is under special control of the district leadership.
There are 1300 heads of cattle here. The average daily weight gain of cattle since the beginning of the year is 886 grams. Compared to the same level of last year, the growth is 101%.
The construction of a prophylactic center for the smallest calves aged from 20 to 90 days for 160 heads is nearing completion at the complex. It will meet all sanitary and veterinary requirements and will allow for the keeping of livestock in accordance with breeding technologies and, accordingly, contribute to obtaining good weight gains. For the calves, the prophylactic center is equipped with calf houses, pasteurizers, and a milk taxi is provided for feeding.
