The repair and construction workshop of the municipal unitary enterprise "Orshakomhoz" is carrying out a major renovation of a five-story residential building at 37 Boris Khigrin Street.
The utility workers began the work at the end of last year. And under every favorable weather condition, they carried out work throughout the winter. Today, the renovation is nearing completion. The roof, facade, and scaffolding will be repaired. In common areas, the builders will replace the window frames and doors with new ones. They will renovate the entrance groups in the stairwells. In the basements, the engineering networks will be put in order: cold and hot water supply, heating. In April, after landscaping the area at the work sites, the utility workers will put the building into operation.
As reported by the customer service – a branch of the municipal unitary enterprise "Vitebsk Housing and Communal Services", currently, residential buildings are also undergoing major renovations in Orsha at 29b, 62 Mira Street, 29, 31, 33 Georgy Semyonov Street, and other facilities that will be handed over turnkey this spring.
Let us remind you that last year, 18 residential buildings were majorly renovated in the Orsha region. This year, about 17 more will receive a second life. Which ones? We will find out a little later. Currently, a work plan for 2026 is being drafted.
