23 teams from the Vitebsk region took part in the "Big Youth Game" organized by the Komsomol
The regional stage of the intellectual and entertaining game from BRSM "Big Youth Game" brought together 23 teams from different corners of the northern region. The event took place in both online and offline formats at the Media Center of the Vitebsk region.
Welcoming the participants, the first secretary of the regional committee of BRSM Zhanna Naritsina emphasized that the game is aimed at broadening the horizons of youth, deepening knowledge about our country, its culture, and it is important for young people to know their roots and the history of their homeland.
The game consisted of 6 rounds and included questions on the history, culture, literature of Belarus, national cuisine, school knowledge, and the activities of the Youth Union. Participants demonstrated their knowledge, erudition, resourcefulness, and ability to work in a team.
The winner of the regional game was the team from secondary school No. 1 of Gorodok. The second place was shared by the teams from secondary school No. 1 of Shumilino named after the Hero of the Soviet Union P.A. Aktsionka, Dobromyslinsky secondary school of the Lyozna district, and secondary school No. 2 of Beshankovichi named after the Hero of the Soviet Union M.N. Tkachenko. The third place was awarded to the team from secondary school No. 4 of Chashniki.
The winners of the regional stage will represent Vitebsk region on February 18 at the republican competition.
