April 18 is annually celebrated as International Day of Monuments and Sites

As of today, there are 47 monuments of historical and cultural heritage in the Orsha district. Among them: 30 architectural monuments, including religious buildings, industrial and civil architecture; 11 historical monuments, including the Memorial Complex "For Our Soviet Motherland", mass graves; 5 archaeological monuments: the territory of the castle and others. 1 protected area.

Also, there are 23 natural monuments in the Orsha region, including those of national significance, such as the exposure "Orsha" on the left bank of the Dnieper. The Orsha district is associated with famous personalities. The monuments to them are a symbol of immortality and reverence for the great people who left their mark in history.
