April 17 — unified day of information “The people's feat to live through the ages. On the 80th anniversary of the Soviet people's Victory in the Great Patriotic War”

On the eve of the 80th anniversary of the Victory of the Soviet people in the Great Patriotic War, a unified day of information was held in organizations and enterprises of the Orsha district on the topic: "The feat of the people lives on through the ages. To the 80th anniversary of the Victory of the Soviet people in the Great Patriotic War".

The unified day of information is intended to remind about the great contribution of the Belarusian people to the defeat of Nazism, about the victims and heroism of those who fought on the fronts, in partisan units, and worked in the rear. During the meetings, key events of the war, the role of Belarus in the overall Victory, and the importance of passing the truth about the war to future generations were discussed.

Also, within the framework of the meetings, the contribution of the residents of the Orsha district to the Great Victory, work on patriotic education of youth, and support for veterans were discussed.
